INSIDE SCOOP City of London Freemen’s School Ashtead Park, Ashtead, Surrey, KT21 1ET Admissions: admissions@freemens.org 01372 277 933 • freemens.org Day/Flexi/Weekly/Full 7-18 SE As parents, we love: The beautiful grounds and impressive facilities. The quality of academic teaching and energy invested into bringing out the best of each child. Consistently positive results and achievements. The Inside Scoop from a current parent… We came to look around the school a few years ago and were most impressed by the school grounds and facilities. When it was time to make our decision, our most important consideration was the quality of academic teaching, which was clearly evident in consistently strong results. Most importantly, the students were happy and engaged. My son joined in year 3 and we have seen a significant change in his confidence. The school encourages independence and self-reliance from the beginning and we have seen the impact this has had on his personality. Freeman’s takes the time to guide students towards making positive choices, giving them the confidence to contribute in a world that can be both challenging and uncertain. Our children love: Their teachers. The really tasty school lunch. Clubs and sports, particularly cricket in the summer term. HEADS UP “Freemen’s is a traditional school with a contemporary and forward-looking approach. Like you, we want the very best for the young people in our care. We aim to provide our pupils with the skills they need to prepare them for life beyond Freemen’s.” Roland Martin, Headmaster Open days: 8 May 2019, 27 September 2019, 12 October 2019, 6 May 2020 - Sixth Form 19 September 2019. 2019 ★ Read the full review on schoolnotices.co.uk 23
